The fourth floor tends to be the quietest part of the library, though some sound does travel up from the lower floors, due to the way the library building was constructed.

Take the elevator or use the stairs on the third floor (between the study rooms) to get to the fourth floor. You will find numerous study carrels, a comfortable sofa, and (hopefully) some peace and quiet.
