Interlibrary Loan, or ILL, is service where libraries loan items to one another to help meet the information needs of patrons. When Armacost Library doesn't directly provide full text access to an article, book, or other item, you may either work with a librarian to find something comparable or submit an ILL request.

Requests for electronic items may take a few days to fulfill, while requests for physical items like books will take longer, especially during campus closures and reduced library hours/staffing at receiving and/or lending libraries. Requests for items only held by one or a handful of libraries (e.g., conference proceedings, older dissertations) may take much longer to fulfill or may not be possible to fulfill.

ILL is available, and at no cost, to current University of Redlands students, faculty, staff, and administrators. Armacost Library absorbs all ILL costs so we ask that patrons be selective with their requests.
